With proper planning, and a general understanding IT managers will be able to migrate to using a private Cloud system in six steps. The first step in the process is to address budget issues, as a cloud system can cost hundreds of thousands and even millions of dollars. Other steps include evaluating the current IT environment, virtualizing wherever possible, invest in tools that provision VM’s on existing infrastructure, and determining which apps are ready for the cloud. The final step is to implement technologies for Automated Provisioning and Orchestration.
