Sprint has made a commitment to reduce their emissions by 20% by 2017 by investing in more renewable energy sources. They are leading the way to create a greener telecom industry and were recognized for it by Greenpeace International’s Cool IT Leaderboard.
Hopefully, other companies will follow in Sprint’s footsteps and use more renewable energy, reduce energy requirements and increase energy efficiency.
